Fractal noise, folded into itself until it runs like poured ink. Click the canvas for a new pattern, open Configuration to steer the warp, color and octave weights by hand, then keep any frame as a 4K wallpaper. Original formula credit to trinketMage.

Noise Bleed is a free browser tool that renders domain-warped fractal noise as flowing liquid color and saves it as wallpaper. A WebGL shader layers four fBM octaves and feeds each result back as a coordinate offset, which is what produces the marbled look. Sixteen sliders control base scale, animation speed, warp depth, formula rotation, hue, saturation, contrast, exposure, per-channel red, green and blue bias, and the four octave weights. No account, no upload, no watermark.
Is Noise Bleed free?
Yes. Noise Bleed is completely free with no account, no watermark, no export limit and no feature gates. Every image you make is yours to use, personally or commercially. The whole app is a single HTML page that runs in your browser, so there is no paid tier to upgrade to and nothing to install.
How do I use Noise Bleed?
Open the page and a random pattern appears right away. Click the canvas on desktop, or double-tap on a phone, to roll a new one. The hamburger button at the top right opens Configuration, where sliders control geometry, color and the four fBM octave weights. Press Capture 4K Wallpaper to open the capture panel, pick Still, Video or GIF, set an aspect and a size, then press the button. Export JSON saves the exact settings so you can reload that pattern later.
Does Noise Bleed collect my data?
No. Noise Bleed runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebGL. No image, setting or pattern is ever uploaded, because there is no server to upload one to. The only network traffic is anonymous Google Analytics page counting. Settings you export as JSON are written straight to your download folder and never leave your device.
What is domain warping?
Domain warping is a shader technique where the coordinates fed into a noise function are themselves displaced by noise. Noise Bleed applies it recursively: fractal Brownian motion is evaluated once, that result offsets the input, and the whole thing is evaluated again, twice over. Inigo Quilez popularized the method. The Domain Warp Depth slider sets how far each pass pushes the coordinates, from a soft cloud at 0 to violent marbling at 10.
What size wallpaper can I export from Noise Bleed?
Noise Bleed exports 3840x2160 in 16:9, 2160x3840 in 9:16 portrait, 2160x2160 square, 21:9 ultrawide, and an exact 1200x630 social card. Every frame is rendered fresh into an offscreen target at the size you choose, not scaled up from the window, so a 4K file carries real 4K detail. Stills save as PNG, JPEG or WebP. The same pinned moment also records as an MP4 clip, or WebM in Firefox, and as a GIF at 720p or under. Sizes your device cannot handle are disabled with the reason shown.
What do I need to run Noise Bleed?
A browser with WebGL. Noise Bleed works in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. There is no plugin, no download and no signup. An older phone can render the live view but may lack the GPU texture memory for a 4K still, so the capture panel probes the device first and disables sizes it cannot produce rather than handing you a black file.
How does Noise Bleed compare to Shadertoy?
Shadertoy is a code editor for writing shaders; Noise Bleed is a finished shader with sliders. Write GLSL yourself and Shadertoy is the better tool. Want a wallpaper in thirty seconds and Noise Bleed gives you sixteen controls and a real 4K export with no code. It sits closest to palmdrop's Surfaces, which also drives recursive domain warping, but Noise Bleed adds per-channel color bias, JSON settings you can save and reload, and one-tap portrait and social exports.
What other generative art apps are like Noise Bleed?
Three free apps on Chris Pirillo's arcade cover neighboring ground. Fractal Clouds raymarches volumetric cloud formations with atmospheric controls. Aether Flux generates cosmic raymarched fractal art with live parameters. Gullywash carves erosion gullies into terrain and exports a heightmap PNG, a 4K render or a 3D-printable STL. All three run in the browser, cost nothing and need no account.
